Passive Fall Protection
Passive Fall Protection Systems typically include guardrails, handrails, and safety nets. Its non-dynamic, does not move or change when in or out of use, and does not require the use of personal protective equipment or participation from the worker. In most situations, Passive Fall Protection Systems require an Active Fall Protection System be used during installation.
Active Fall Protection
Active Fall Protection Systems typically include fall restraint and fall arrest systems, they are dynamic, require the use of special equipment as well as worker participation and workers using the system must have fall protection training.
